Delaney has been a hopeless romantic and lover of all things weddings since childhood. After planning her own wedding in 2020, her love of weddings blossomed into a career with the launch of Toohey Weddings. Each day spent planning or coordinating a wedding is a dream come true. Inspired by doing what she loves, Delaney is passionate about making others’ dreams come true, by playing a part in creating their fairytale weddings.

Before wedding planning, Delaney worked as a high school and middle school teacher. This field rendered Delaney an expert in problem-solving, planning & organization, and communication. She is especially adept in what she calls, “people wrangling—” you may even hear her bust out the “teacher voice” during a wedding rehearsal. Designing curriculum and learning activities easily transformed into creating table scapes, invitations, and mood boards. If she can plan and run a classroom, she can plan and run your wedding!
